Michael's shift was all but over, with the last thing to do – a status report on the repairs relating to the ships security systems. Michael approached the door and chimed.

“Enter,” Came from within the office of Commander N’Dura.

“Good evening Ma – Sir, I have a status report on the security systems for you.” Said Michael in clear firm tone, not wanting to sound to forceful, but not wanting to seem shying away

“Go ahead Lieutenant,” Replied the CSO.

“Internal force fields – fully functional; armory security system – fully functional; brig monitoring systems and shields – fully functional; emergency weapons lockers – fully functional and secure; critical area monitoring – fully functional; security communication channels – fully functional; security personnel – semi functional.” Said Michael in a matter of fact way.

“HA HA HA. Semi functional indeed Mr Windsor; I am pleased we are fully functional with the systems.” replied the Chief in a typical Klingon tone.

“If there is nothing else I can do for you, Sir, I am going to head to the holodecks to do some tactical training. I heard that holodeck one just passed safety inspection and is open for business.”

“No Lieutenant, nothing else. I may come observe your training later.”

“Aye Ma – Sir.”

With that said, David exited the Chief's office and headed to his quarters to select his tactical training program, weapons and don appropriate uniform.
